About IndieLong

IndieLong is an independent guide to half and full distance triathlons that aren't run by the big brands — the local, often cheaper, often more scenic races.

How prices are checked

• Every date and price links to the page it came from, with the date we last checked it (2026-10-15 for this build) and how it was verified (official page opened, registration platform API, or search-engine excerpt of an official page).
• We never guess. If a price isn't published or we couldn't verify it, we show "not published".
• "From" means the entry tier open on the check date or, if none is open, the next tier to open. Prices are shown in the race's own currency — we don't convert.
• US prices from RunSignup include RunSignup's processing fee, so they compare fairly with IRONMAN's all-in general-entry prices.
• IRONMAN comparisons are only built when both prices are verified, in the same currency, and the independent race is cheaper.

• FFTri (French Triathlon Federation) long-distance calendar, weekly.
• Challenge Family official race pages, weekly.
• Organizer and registration pages checked by hand.
• IRONMAN official register pages for comparison prices (low-volume snapshot).
